Course Description
The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification is the gold standard in the IT Security field. Security professionals that have achieved their CISSP designation are regarded as some of the most talented and knowledgeable people in their field. The certification demonstrates that the holder has been working in IT Security for over five years, has a broad range of knowledge in ten domains related to creating, supporting and maintaining a secure IT infrastructure and can implement things like risk management and risk identification.
Participants will learn ambout security and risk anagement, asset security, security architecture and engineering, communication and network security, identity and asset management, security assessment and testing, security operations, software development and security, and the CISSP toolkit.

Prerequisites

You must have at least five years of full-time, paid experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).
- You must possess a bachelor's degree in information security or have equivalent professional experience. Additionally, holding a four-year college degree or an approved credential may qualify you for a one-year experience waiver.
- You must have the technical expertise to explain issues related to access control and the architecture for protecting data and information system assets. Additionally, you should understand disaster recovery policies and be capable of demonstrating effective strategies to clients and stakeholders.
