Course Description
The ITIL Foundation course is the entry level certification course for IT Service Management Best Practices training in ITIL. The ITILv4 Foundation online course will introduce you to service management key concepts, ITIL principles, the ITIL service value system (SVS), ITIL practices and their role in a service provider organization.

Prepare to successfully take the associated ITIL Foundation Certification Test which is a requirement for attending any of the further learning courses (ITIL intermediate level training) available in this track

Prerequisites
There are no formal prerequisites. However, a basic knowledge of Service Management concepts will be helpful.
Exam Information
Interactive lessons and discussions prepare participants for the optional exam: ITIL 2011 Foundation. The exam is a 60-minute closed book exam with forty (40) multiple choice questions. A passing score is 65% (26 out of 40 questions). You may earn 3 of the 22 credits required for ITIL Expert Level Certification by passing the exam associated with this course.
